At the suggestion of his speech therapist, at age 8 Howard was given his first camera, a polaroid. He enjoyed the instant gratification and the notion of non-verbal communication. As his speaking abilities greatly improved over the decades, Howard was able to convince people to pay him for his photographs. His quirky and humorous vision is now sought by many in the advertising and art world. He has won numerous awards but is too modest to list them. Howard spent many years in college but is basically self-taught in photography.
