For the Angelini sisters, Marinella and Mariapia, careers as artists began years ago in the theater. Marinella has a degree in stage design and Mariapia a Masters in Architecture. The sisters enjoy painting in the trompe I'oeil technique, a method perfected during their many years working as set and costume designers for the international cinema and theater world. Living and working in Northern Italy, the evidence of their Italian culture and heritage shines through in the subject matter selected for their beautifully rendered paintings.
